ask to me if you can... [link]
:icondrrew:
Glasslook, Amped, Distured (techno head remix)are the best here in my opinion. Good enough preset though, good work.

:bulletblack: prelude - looking fat, it's a bit too bright for me though and not really fast.
:bulletblack: digital motion - this one is interesting, i like the vertical lines :) and the colours aren't so bad either.
:bulletblack: gush of dust - a rather classic effect - nothing too special for me in this one, and it's slow too (12.5 fps)
:bulletblack: glasslook - aiaiaiii, hot! it would be cool if the background changed direction sometimes but otherwise it's great. stylish, fast and nice colour
:bulletblack: analog flow - so well, it's well done but i have seen presets like this before...
:bulletblack: minimalistica - good idea, i can see that, but the execution is not as good as i would wish it to be. maybe put a blur on the scope to make it look smoother? and the random diagonal lines seem out of place. work some more on this and it will get better i think.
:bulletblack: disturbed - okay i think i saw this in the preview, and to be honest it's not very exciting. :|
:bulletblack: psychotic analyzer - i can see you made this on a bigger resolution than mine (400x300) because on 800x600 the effect looks cool, but on 400x300 the rectangles are just too big. the colour scheme is simple but it works in a way. i can not say too much about movement and stuff since it's too slow on a bigger res for me (800x600 is @ 5fps here :XD:).
:bulletblack: amped - this one is good too! i like... yeah i really like the colours in this one. it looks like a =micro-D-edit of an ~Hboy preset :D - no, really a fav here :)
:bulletblack: interlude - well...
:bulletblack: liquid gaia - ugh, the colours! no not my taste really.
:bulletblack: summer sunshine - reminds me of zamuz' best unfinished preset "big bang". could work as a chillout floor visual. it's good...
:bulletblack: analog flow - whispers rmx - a little bit disorienting and hasty movements - i think i liked the original better, but ~rce-ordinary still managed to turn it into something else.
:bulletblack: diturbed (re-fix) - well what would you expect from `yathosho - it hurts ;) ah well, it's nicer because it's "broken". but it doesn't really change what i said about the original.
:bulletblack: analog flow (review) - wow the first really good framey release since... whenever. texture, colours, you still got it man! and i still love it :)
:bulletblack: minimalistica (clean heart remix) - your own remix? it's better than the original, but marginally. i liked the colours better in the original.
:bulletblack: disturbed - wow another favourite here! this one is fast simple and super-reactive. and it looks just fat. well done whoever remixed this one!
:bulletblack: hboy - phoenix (dragon rmx) - very, very nice and relaxing. works well in it's simplicity and glossy shine. colours good too :) it's good to see a good remix of this marvellous preset. unfortunately it was always so slow.
:bulletblack: horse-fly - ringu (kinko edit) - it looks very raw and not very refined. and it's too simple and dark. not really worthy of horse-fly.
:bulletblack: dRrew - ± (source re-think) - it set's out nicely with the subdued colours and the lines and big outline effect, but somehow it can't excite me enough.
:bulletblack: micro-D - stripe (traces mix) - in the beginning it looks boring but the scope definitely picks up. but it's so slow i can hardly enjoy it. maybe set n in the texer a little bit lower so it's easier on the cpu? it really got faster after i set it to 250.

overall the pack has a few real gems (glasslook & amped) and a lot of good to mediocre stuff in between. most of the presets were too slow for me @ 400x300 - think about viewers who have less cpu-power than you do ;)
the remix i liked the most was definitely the disturbed one (what's the original?) and i also like the remix by framey a lot.
what happened to my second remix btw?

ok i had a chance to view it (on a 5-year-old laptop so i could run it in a small resolution) so here's my opinion:
gush of dust was a light 10^23th flowy preset what i saw but goes very well with slower tracks
glasslook was the nicest (imho)
i didn't like minimalistica (hey you can do way better things than this) it felt a bit noobish. the cleanheart remix was a bit better i think you could include just that one in the pack
disturbed was funky just some optimizations was missing (corrected in yathosho's review). the technohead remix was the best (in the pack also)
the phoenix remix was sloooooow. maaan 2 convos with scalings set 31!!! why didn't you set it 32 (2^5)??? i got the same image. + there are way more cheaper methods for the same effect! i got 1.8x speed disabling just that EL! and above 2x speed after a little deeper optimization.
ooh my überbrutalvikingkeltawarrior stripe0 yaaay!:D again slow! for example 3 blur on eachother (1 simple convo is much better here i think) (but the original texer wasn't so well optimized too)
overally nice and whatever. you really improved a lot just look at the framerate counter! (what kind of machine you have?)
(that laptop has a similar cpu to the one from my old machine. so i compared the performance of my presets on the laptop to that box so they were the reference for saying shit about the optimization)
yaaay framey still alive!=P

have your very own 3D avatar!!!
:iconmercenary2008:
heh thanks mate!

i have AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ and ATi Radeon X1650 XT 512 Mb.

and i'll say one thing: all of these presets have 15+ fps on my machine (resolution is 480x640)

thanks pal, you really blowed!
heh, i didn't recieve any comments like that before!

first, i have to say about your second remix: i decided not to include it in the collection 'cause it was a remix of old version of amped and i thought: "what i'll say if somebody will ask me: have that Grandchild's remix the original?"

second, about that fat remix of disturbed.
the comment for that one was:

yranecrem yb ximer daehonhcet - debrutsid

9002

turning around and recieving this:

disturbed - technohead remix by mercenary

2009

and it goes to minimalistica remix too.

so, here's my answer and thanks again, Jakob!!
